A new book focusing on the
artistic talent, dedication and
achievements of twelve women
artists in the northwest is about
to be launched.
A Colourful Canvas: Twelve
Women Artists in the Northwest, the
latest publication from Wendy J
Levy Contemporary Art Ltd,
will be launched on Tuesday
5th December in Manchester City
centre. Written by Judy Rose and
Wendy Levy with a foreword by
the art historian Michael Howard,
the book celebrates the life and
work of these twelve women.
This is the second book published
by Wendy J Levy Contemporary
Art Ltd and follows on from the
success of the 2004 publication of
Liam Spencer Painting from Life.
