Angela Munslow was born in Cheshire in Sandbach. She trained at the Sir Henry Doulton School of Sculpture, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, from 1990-1992, after working in science based industry and education.
Angela is known for her corporate commissions and thrives on challenges that enable her to use her imagination. Her ‘Discovery’ sculpture, for Royal Doulton featured on television news, and was exhibited in the British Pavilion at Expo 92 in Seville. ‘Harmony’ formed part of Stapeley Water Gardens display at Chelsea Flower Show, which won a gold medal, was shown on TV and in the press, and led to garden sculpture commissions such as her ‘Flower Fairies’.
Her work is in private collections throughout the UK and as far away as New Zealand. One of her later commissions was for the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Her artwork has been exhibited extensively in Galleries in the North West and Midlands, and also in London.
