About Wendy J Levy Contemporary Art
In the early 1970s Wendy went to work at the Pitcairn Galleries in Knutsford. It comprised a large and very attractive exhibition space on two floors with a separate sculpture gallery. The Pitcairn Galleries became recognised as one of the finest private galleries in the North West, hosting exhibitions from all over the country.
Wendy eventually took over as proprietor of Pitcairn Galleries in the early 1980s and continued to run it very successfully until she decided to relinquish the gallery premises in order to work from home whilst bringing up her two young children. In the summer of 2000 Wendy opened her current gallery in Didsbury.
The gallery is compact and charming and Wendy is careful to show only good quality works of art. She has been delighted by the favorable response of all those who visit her gallery.
